The Leaf Catcher offers the pool owner to have reduced maintenance as well as swimming pool pump running costs while keeping the swimming pool free of leaves and debris. The Leaf Catcher has a life span of more than 10 years if looked after and maintained.
The Leaf Catcher material is porous to let rainwater through. The Pool Covers Xtreme Cape Town Leaf Catcher is fitted with utmost precision. On acceptance we get the panel ready then we will arrange a day to come out to your premises and fit the stainless steel plates all around your swimming pool spaced every 70cm to 80cm apart, the material then gets hooked into the stainless steel plates in order for us to cut out and mark out the material, the material then gets taken back to our facility in order to do the final finishing to stitch the supported webbing around the perimeter of the material. Our Leaf Catcher has a stitch line in front of the eyelet as well as at the back of the eyelet to prevent the eyelets from tearing out. Stainless Steel Eyelets are fitted into the webbing surround and stainless-steel hooks are then attached onto the eyelets. The Leaf Catcher will then be returned to site and fitted onto the stainless-steel plates. The Pool Covers Xtreme Leaf Catcher is manufactured and then it gets fitted with on site owner supervision and the final product stitching gets finished off by the owner Angelique Smalberger.
The Leaf Catcher material is 65% industrial strength UV treated shade netting available in light blue only, the light blue colour is the only colour treated to be used on swimming pools.
The 65% density is used as it is easily stretched over the swimming pool and reduces water evaporation with up to 70% also keeping out leaves.
The Leaf Catcher is manufactured using mono-filament polyethylene strands treated with blue filament and plasticiser. These strands are knitted into material which is strong and hard wearing.
The Leaf Catcher gets fitted to the shape and size of your swimming pool and gets attached with stainless steel hooks, plates and screws. The materials edge gets reinforced with webbing and stainless-steel eyelets at each anchoring point.
